@AbuDhabiArt Abu Dhabi Art Presents Innovative Selection of Artworks Through Numerous Exhibiting Platforms

From burgeoning to distinguished, from corporate to institutional; all types of collectors are encouraged to explore

Abu Dhabi Art provides collectors with the unique opportunity to experience a wide selection of artworks - from large scale, monumental installations that go beyond the confines of galleries’ booths, to works that fall on the opposite side of the size spectrum in an exhibition dedicated to ‘small’ sized artworks – from November 20-23 at Manarat Al Saadiyat and the UAE Pavilion, on Saadiyat Island.
Featuring 50 galleries representing the four corners of the world, more than 400 modern, contemporary art and design artists’ works are showcased in all mediums and in a variety of formats: 3 galleries partaking in the Signature section present an artist’s solo exhibition and Beyond, sees 11 large scale sculptures, installed indoors and outdoors, throughout the venues.
In addition, a parallel exhibition (running within Art, Talks and Sensations), called ‘Small is Beautiful’, presents small-scale works by both celebrated and emerging artists and a new curated section titled ‘Artists’ Waves’ focuses on the discovery and re-discovery of artists selected by a curator (rather than galleries representing them), with a programmed salon, where visitors can interact with the galleries representing these artists.
Abu Dhabi Art has made access to information about artworks on show easier, simply by downloading an online app called QR reader which by scanning a barcode next to works, visitors can access a wealth of information – this is a first for works in an art fair.
