@BaskinRobbins @DubaiExpo2020 Baskin-Robbins & Arabian Radio Network Announce Ice Cream Giveaway in Support of Dubai Expo 2020

Baskin-Robbins is the world’s largest chain of ice cream specialty shops, creating and marketing delicious premium ice cream, specialty frozen desserts and a range of lip-smacking beverages here in the UAE and across the globe. And could anything be sweeter than Baskin-Robbins giving away free—yes, free—ice cream!

On November 28, should the Dubai bid for hosting Expo 2020 be successful,  guests who visit Baskin-Robbins parlors in the UAE, between 1 and 3pm, will receive a voucher for one, free-of-charge, delicious 'junior' scoop. This delicious ice cream will be handed out by the Baskin-Robbins' staff on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies and flavor selection last. Customers can redeem their vouchers at any time on November 28 between 1pm and 5pm. Up to 100,000 junior scoops will be given out free of charge.
Mr. Abdulmonem Suliman, Acting General Manager at Galadari Ice Cream Company said, “Baskin-Robbins is leading the cheers for Dubai's bid to be host city for Expo 2020 under its theme of 'Connecting Minds, Creating the Future'. We are proud of our city and I'm sure that everyone who lives here is rightly proud of it, too.”
“We want to celebrate our small part in backing Dubai in its bid, and to make everyone who lives in Dubai remember the day with a delicious free junior scoop of Baskin-Robbins ice cream, courtesy of Galadari Ice Cream Company and Dunkin' Brands,” continued Suliman. “It's also our way of saying thank you to all our customers, who are also right behind Dubai's bid. It’ll be a party atmosphere for sure – and nothing livens a party more than a serving of delicious Baskin-Robbins ice cream!
“Baskin Robbins is all about bringing smiles to the faces of our guests around the world with our wide range of ice cream flavors and frozen treats,” said John Varughese, Vice President Middle East, Southeast Asia and India for Dunkin’ Brands. “So we’re very excited to work with Galadari Ice Cream Company to offer our guests in the UAE this fun promotion in support of Dubai Expo 2020. We hope our guests enjoy the special in-store offer and celebration on November 28th.”
Baskin-Robbins has partnered with Arabian Radio Network, who will report on the event during the day via their 9 leading radio channels.

Dubai is among the contenders vying for the chance to host the Expo 2020. The other cities alongside Dubai are: İzmir, Turkey; Yekaterinburg, Russia, and São Paulo, Brazil. If Dubai wins the bid, Expo 2020 will run from October 20, 2020 to April 10, 2021 and be heralded by a seven year collaboration and innovation project, to be called 'Expo Live'.
