Beauty Connection Spa took part of the history by setting new Guinness World Record

Previous record of filing 25,720 nails breaks in half time by Beauty Connection Spa professional 100-manicurists

A team of 100 manicurists from the Dubai-based Beauty Connection Spa, service industry leader, has broken the previous record of 25,720 nails finishing in 4-hours and made the history of setting new record to finish 51,500 nails and varnished in 8-hours while thousands of visitors were still waited in long queues to set the new world record due time.

The Beauty Connection Spa has set the stage of ‘Nail the Record’ at the Dubai Mall on Friday 14 February 2014, one hundred manicurists from the Beauty Connection Spa dressed as Rosie the Riveter, a symbol of feminism and women's economic power, had filed and polished thousands of people, men and women at the Star Atrium, Dubai Mall from 2pm to 10 pm.

The previous record was set by Priceline and Sally Hansen, Australia in 2011. 

Besides the participation of thousands of visitors took part in the making of new Guinness World Record there were a number of prominent personalities like Mrs. Mariam Othman, Director General of the Rashid Centre for Disabled and showbiz celebrity including Suzane Najmudeen, famous Syrian actress.

Kawthar Makahlah Al Shamsi, founder of the Beauty Connection Spa said “the record is dedicated to the whole team of Beauty Connection Spa to motivate and empower them.”

She added “The participation of thousands of people reflects our motto to empower women as the interest expressed by the visitors belongs to every nationality was great admiration as well.”

As a part of 2014 CSR initiative, Rashid Centre for Disabled has been announced as the charity partner of BCI Group of Companies and the Founder, Mrs. Kawthar Makahlah Al Shamsi announced to sponsors the full facilities required in year 2014.
