@AlNoor_Centre @GrandMillDubai Grand Millennium Dubai Continues to Support the Community

Grand Millennium Dubai has committed to extend its corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities during 2014, engaging with the local community by raising funds for causes such as the Al Noor Training Centre for Children with Special Needs, a charitable organisation established in 1981, which provides therapy and schooling as well as assistance with work placement.

The hotel regularly supports the Al Noor Samsung Hope for Children Family Fun Fair, participating in the event every year. According to General Manager, Peter Mansourian, the all-day carnival attracts more than 5,000 visitors every year:  “They enjoy the huge range of attractions from games and bouncy castles to crafts, performances and stalls in the food court, such as the one catered and sponsored by Grand Millennium Dubai.”

In addition, the Grand Millennium Dubai is working with the Autism Trust Foundation (ATF), where it is one of the main sponsors for a very special art project.

More than 700 children with autism from around the world have sent in drawings to form part of a gigantic 100-metre display on the Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai - The Largest Drawing Board Ever.

Winners from participating countries are visiting Dubai with two family members to enjoy a week of activities, and original artworks will be displayed in major malls around Dubai.

“We are delighted to take part in such events and its one of many ways of how we can give back to the community, something we will expand on during the year,” said Mr Mansourian.
